On Tuesday, June 23rd, Mike (Rocky) and I will be flying back to Massachusetts to finish our hike on the trail. Mike's sister, who lives just outside of Boston, has been kind enough to agree to pick us up in Boston and drop us off at the trail head. She was the one who picked us up off the trail last time and we greatly appreciate her generosity.
We have approximately 700 miles left to hike. Other hikers have told us that the next few states we hike through, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermount and Maine have the most difficult terrain of the entire trail. Mike has to be back by the first week of August and I have to be back and ready to work at Hueys by August 23rd. My back is still not at 100% but this is really the only time I will be able to finish this for a long time so I am going to try to push through.
This blog also has Mike and I's adventure from the last time we went on the trail. Enjoy, see y'all in a few months.
