Day 21- Getting out of the Rain - Into Buchanan- 10.4 Miles
The rain can quickly change your plans, as it did today. After waking, first of all it was very chilly, and of course was still raining. We sat around for a little while waiting to see if it would pass, and we were not so lucky. After a few hours of procrastinating, Rocky came up with a little detour from our primary plan( which was 20 miles). We would walk to Bearwallow gap, 10.4 miles, in the rain to hitch a ride into Buchanan and stay the night.
