Mike was having some chaffing issues so he decided to skip out on the next 20 miles and go ahead and check into the Allenberry, where we would be staying for the night. Mrs. Cindy was kind enough to drop him and Riley off at the resort and then she gave Cade and I a ride back to the trail head. We would be slack packing the next 20 miles which would take us to the resort where Mike and Riley were waiting for us. Slack-packing, as always, is the best way to hike.
