Day 20- Leaving Daleville to Wilson Creek Shelter-11.2 Miles
As you can imagine, leaving a town is somewhat of a difficult task at times We sucked every minute out of the motel before they kicked us out around 11am. Usually when we leave a town we try to adjust back into the trail life by doing a low mileage day. The hike was quite nice and actually took us a little less time than we anticipated. The only real excitement today was watching Lumber and Hey Jude build their famous fire before the rain. And yes the rain came,that's for sure. It rained all through the night, which helped us fall asleep,but we knew the next day would be a challenge. WALKING IN THE RAIN SUCKS!!
