Day 22- Bearwallow to Cornellius Creek Shelter-15.3 Miles
Day 22 started a new chapter on our journey.We believe this was when we hit our so called "groove." After hitching a ride from Del, who was quite a character, just like all the randos who actually pick us up, we kinda cruised during somewhat of a hard day, terrain wise. We descended from 2300ft to 950ft, then immediately climbed back up to 3600ft. Although the terrain was very rocky, somehow we cruised through unlike the previous weeks. Of course the shelter was packed again, but we were greeted by our old friends Pantry & Slow and Steady, which elevated our already high spirits. Overall a pivotal day of our adventure.
